ABOUT THE PIECE
We’re putting together a full-length compilation musical featuring female-identifying game-changers from throughout history and we’re seeking scenes to be a part of it.
The show is being created with an eye toward production
International Women’s Day, March 8th 2025.

Submitted scenes should highlight impactful women who have shaped the world - inventors, leaders, rule-breakers, and more. We’re hoping to showcase lesser-known women, rather than the famous few, but we’re open to all ideas!
We’re looking for stand-alone musical scenes in a variety of styles. Comedy and drama. Non-musical scenes and non-traditional formats also welcome.
We’re seeking a diverse array of women's stories in terms of race, culture, country, time period, and field of impact.
Scenes can depict any moment in the woman's life, whether real or imagined. Additional materials will be incorporated to ensure the audience knows her historical impact.
Scenes should be 1-10 minutes long, with no more than 4 women and 2 men.
Scenes from existing pieces are acceptable if the submitting writer controls the rights.
All writers are welcome. Female-identifying writers highly encouraged.
Submission requires a PDF of the scene, MP3 song demo, and application form.
